Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Iowa

my father in law just passed away and he and his current wife were in the process of divorce. my husband was taken out of the will but the other surviving siblings are in the will. what are the rights of the current wife and how is the estate divided in this situation.

The widow can elect either the statutory one half or what is conveyed in the will.
