Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Iowa
My father passed away May 29, 2010. He signed a will in the hospital after coming out of a coma, leaving everything to his wife. Previous to this will, his four children from previous marriages were told that we would all receive something. The last will only gave us something if his current wife did not survive him by thirty days, do we have a chance at contesting the will? He was a resident of Iowa but the will stated that he was a resident of Florida.

You'd have to hire an attorney and bankroll litigation, and you'd have to be able to prove he was either not in his right mind or incompetent or was taken advantage of.
