Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Iowa

mom is 93. oldest daughter is deceased. there is no will. when mom passes who will receive oldest daughter's "share" of estate? does it go to her children or to her husband[he is not the father of the children]?

It is as if the oldest daughter did not exist if she predeceases the mom. The husband gest a spousal share whether he is the father of the children or not.
