Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Iowa

My mom passed away and named 2 sisters as executors to her estate. The will states tht all assets are split 6 ways. one of the executors is also on my moms checking account to pay the bills. Can she keep the money in the account for herself or does this need to be split 6 ways like the will states?

After all outstanding bills are paid-i.e., last sickness and medical expenses, judgments, administrator's fees, attorney fees, court fees, and expenses of liquidating the estate, whatever's left is to be divided per the will.
