Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Iowa

My mother passed last december with no will and alot of debt. Four adult children remain (father passed 5 yrs ago). My brother and youngest sister were appointed administrators. We were told from the beginning that we would get nothing from the estate that even the household contents would be auctioned....procedes going to help pay off debtors. Without notifying me or my other sister, the 2 sibling administrators went in the home and took all the contents. I just got the final papers for the estate and, of course there is no mention of the personal property. I asked about it and my brother is trying to say that my mother had already given everything away and she had nothing in the home when she passed. So, basically they are getting paid $1500.00 out of the estate to go in the home and steal all the contents. Is there anything my other sister and I can do at this point? We've been refusing to sign off on the final papers.

You can always hire an attorney and seek to contest the distribution.
