Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Iowa

Okay, question is. Mom died 11/09 in Iowa. I inherited her home and sold it 3/10. Basis was $458,500 at time of death. Sold home for $455,500. I live out of state and am not a resident of Iowa. My question is, even though I do not owe tax to Iowa as a result of the sale, I still have to report the sale on my federal tax return.

MY QUESTION IS: Do I need to file an individual tax return in Iowa reporting the sale (even though there was no capital gain on it?). Anything else I'm missing?

That question is probably best directed to the Iowa Department of Revenue.
