Can you draw up a will on your own?
Yes, for yourself only. If you prepare a will for someone else, and you are not an attorney, you are engaged in the unauthorized practice of law.
Can you expect the will to be legal and binding?
It depends on your level of expertise. Any mistakes made could cost your heirs dearly.
