Legal Question in Workers Comp in Iowa

My employer chose my docter but my doctor wants to switch my docter

My employer sent me to a docter of their choice and now my employer and workmans compensation case workers wants to switch me to a different docter by law can they?

Under Iowa law the employer can choose the doctor or medical service provider but then has to follow the doctor's orders. Workers' compensation carriers and their adjusters along with case mismanagers aren't licensed to practice medicine and therefore have no power/authority to diagnose, treat, refer or to render medical opinions.
