Legal Question in Workers Comp in Iowa

Fell on ice at work

I fell on the ice in the parking lot at my previous employer. I did go to the emergency room and have been treated since by my doctor. I have been told that I will need a complete knee replacement, but Worker's Comp said they will not pay for any of it since I have had problems with my knee in the past. Is there anything I can do?

Yes you can file a workers' compensation claim with the Iowa Industrial Commission. This is a question of whether he work related injury aggravated a pre-existing condition and if it did it's covered.
