Legal Question in Workers Comp in Iowa

Was injured at work, needed and had shoulder surgery. Work comp paid, no problem. Off for 22 weeks total, employer tells me I have to payback my Aflac and health policies they paid while I was off injured. Was never told about this until I returned to work. Do I have to payback the monies paid by me employer while I was off from an injury at their place of business?
