Legal Question in Workers Comp in Iowa

Me and my kids have been sick lately a lot since we took a vacation to the state of Colorado July19-23 and then my son got sick and then a week later I got sick with flu and I have brought in doctor excuses for these sicknesses. So, my question is can my employer fire me because me and my kids have been sick lately??

Iowa is a right to work state, and that means, unless you have a contract of employment or a collective bargaining agreement you can be terminated for any reason, good reason, or no reason at all. Fair it isn't but it is the law.
