lower lumbar
I had a fusion in my lower back in june. It is my second back surgery in the last year and a half. I was wondering what the time frame for a settlement may be

Re: lower lumbar
You have two years from the date of the injury unless you have been paid weekly indemnity benefits. If so, then three years from the date when you last received weekly indemnity benefits. But you must have been being paid under the Iowa workers comp. statute and not some disability plan or some other states w.c. benefit plan. It is in your best interest to get a lawyer so that you are not lulled or fooled into allowing the statute of limitations to run. Steve Lombardi
