Legal Question in Workers Comp in Iowa

about a month ago i had an incodent at work, a man asaulted me while I was at my place of employment at work. I did'nt file a report how ever i have a witness. i then turned the matter over to my boss at work. My boss kicked out the man who done this to me, now a month later the man has came back after i told my boss i would quit working for him if the man was allowed back in. boss told me he wouldnt let him back in. now he is letting him back in only when i dont work. So it sounds like to me that my schedule is being given out as well as the guy is coming back in. I called corporrat office for the company yesterday and recieved 3 calls from diffrant peaple in the office. If nothing is done to resolve this situation do you have any suggestion for my next step in this matter?

Unfortunately you did not file a report when you had the opportunity. Your employer is obligated to provide you a safe workplace. Putting them on notice by expressing your concerns would be appropriate but beyond that there's nothing that can be done unless the assault was of a sexual nature.
