Legal Question in Workers Comp in Iowa

Reoccuring injury

I work at a company in southeast iowa. In august '05 i had left a cubital tunnel release done. I received a Impairment rating of 2% and received a $2100.00 check a few months later. The cubital tunnel returned on the same elbow and i had surgery again in Jan. '08. The doctor says that my impairment rating is still the same. (which i disagree) Will i receive another settlement if the impairment rating is the same?

The quick answer is "No.". But a lawyer who understands the system may be able to get you more money through the rating system.
