Legal Question in Workers Comp in Iowa

work comp lay off

I work in a union plant and because of a work related injury was put on work comp and while on work comp was laid off. After 10 days of lay off I found out that they recalled people back with less seniority. Do I have the ability to get my benifits back.

It depends on how you were sent back to work. Did the doctor send you back to light duty? Did he restrict your work activity level in any way? If so yes you probably can go back on wc.
