Legal Question in Immigration Law in Israel
Tourist Visa
I have been leaving in the US for the past 8 years (came here after 2 yr of service in the Israeli Army), came here as a student (Student Visa), got a job after graduating (work visa H1B sponsored), and now I am married to a US citizen who petitioned for my Green Card and is in process. I have documents to work and travel. My Father also lives in the US, waiting for his citizenship papers, he has a green card. My problem is my sister who lives in Israel, she is 22 years old.
She wanted to come and visit me, and was denied by the US Embassy in Israel on her application for a Tourist Visa.
They didn't believe she isn't coming to stay here. Telling her if she was a student in Israel that would have been a proof for them that she is planning on going back. I don't understand how the fact that she has a sister and a father in the US can work against her instead of for her. She isnt planning staying.she cannot apply for another 6 month. She was planning on visiting me in August. What can I do (since I will be going to visit my family now) for her there? can I speak to anyone in the Embassy there regarding this matter?
Is there anything I can do from here that will allow her to visit me?

Re: Tourist Visa
She can reapply by mail in the form of a written request for reconsideration. I would be happy to work with you on that but there is no guarantee since the US immigration law presumes that all visitors visa applicants are intending immigrants and she has to overcome that presumption. For some that will not be possible.
