Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Israel
My father bought an apartment in Israel in his personal name. He died and in his will he just mentions that this property must go into his american trust. In the american trust is specified how the this apartment should be divided between the heirs. How can we probate this in Israel and get ownership of the apartment ?

In the first instance a petition needs to be filed with the registrar of estates, who because of the nature of the estate will refer it to the family law court. The petition will ask the court here in Israel to recognise and give validity to the American will- once that is done the order is filed with land registry who will trasnfer the title.
