Legal Question in Criminal Law in Italy
Fugitive in Italy
Hi,
Can you let me know the proper avenue to follow for this situation:
A former business partner of mine is currently residing in Italy illegally. He is a US citizen, that had his US passport & US drivers license taken away in the US embassy in Italy when he went to renew it. He does not have an EU nor Italian passport. His visa in Italy has expired. He does not have any Italian identification. His US passport was taken away because he currently has outstanding warrants out for his arrest in the states of California & Virginia, for multiple insurance frauds & violation of his probabtion.
I would like to bring this criminal to justice. Who should I be contacting in order to get him arrested & extradited back to US to face these charges?
I have his address & phone number in Italy. I also have his Italian company's information, which is the President of.
Thank You in advance.

Your local FBI field office is the appropriate place to send your letter.

Contact the agencies which issued the warrants - tell them you want to change the warrants into requests for extradition, as well as the FBI.
