Military divorce while overseas

I am a resident of Fl but currently stationed in Okinawa and my wife is living here as well. I am looking to file for divorce here in Japan but I wanted to make sure it would be valid in FL. If i go along with the divorce here in Japan, will it in fact be valid in FL?

Florida will recognize a Japanese divorce judgment. If you need to enforce parts of it here in Florida later (because, say, your wife won't comply with parts of it, for example), you may need to file a petition to domesticate it in Florida. For that, you'll probably need a lawyer.
