Legal Question in Banking Law in Kansas
Respected Sir,
I have been receiving numerous threatening calls and harassment calls in my mobile number. Also as on Feburary 6th 2013 one of the recovery Agent named Sankar (Mobile Number: 9710127297) walked in to my office without any information. Also in the visitor ledger, he has written that he has come here for an interview and spoke with the HR about my financial and personal information. It was so humiliating to me and I take this has a harassment. Also I receive many calls with the mobile number: 9710127297.
I do not have any money to settle the account, please advice how to deal with the situation.

If the person calling or coming to your business is the creditor, their actions are distateful, but probably not unlawful or illegal. But, if they are colecting the debt for another, then the actions you described are violations of the Kansas and Federal Consumer debt collection laws. If that is the case, you should consult directly with a civil practice attonrey in your area, and reprot the collectors activity to the Kansas Attorney General's office.
