Legal Question in Business Law in Kansas
i would like to know if a breach of contract is when a customer changes the contract in mid job with out written notice or any approvals. also brings in a licensed contractor to do the job and you are still working on the job with your equipment and now he tells you that you are paying for the equipment and not the licensed contractor is that a breach of contract and their is no contract between the home owner and the contractor but the permit is in the contractors name .

Any attorney will ask if you are a iicensed contractor. If you are not, and you're doing work that requires a license, then you can be in a lot of trouble, including refunding all money the customer has paid you to date. Consult with a good business attorney in your area for specific advice.
