Can a business partner sell her half of the business without the other one's consent?

If there is a partnership agreement that prevents selling out, the other partner can prevent the sale. But, otherwise there may be little to stop one selling their interest. You should consult with the attorney that handled the incorporation, or drafted three business agreement.
