Can an employer hold an employees check under w-4 rules until.business property has been returned?

As a Franchise Attorney I can say the following. Employers must pay employee wages in a timely basis. W4 has nothing to do with not having to pay wages until business property is returned. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
