Legal Question in Business Law in Kansas
If I send an email to a business telling them that they are not authorized to run my credit card to pay an invoice, are they required by law to honor that request?

Under the facts you described, it sounds like it would be an improper use of the access to yrou credit information for the company to charge against your card after you told them not to. You may also be able to get the charge credited back if you contest it with your credit card company and give them a copy of the email you sent.
