Do I have to talk about my felony on a job application if the felony is almost 10 years old?

You are not required to "talk" about your conviction. But, if you lie about having a conviction, you could lose the job after being hired. Have you considered having an attorney see if that conviction can be expunged?

Dear Job Applicant: Yes. Unless you have had your previous criminal convictio expunged and sealed by order of the Court, you are obliged to be truthful with a prospective employer. Failure to disclose may result in discharge for cause.
