If you have not done anything violent, nor threatened the the father, the restraining ORde willnto be made permanent. At the hearing, tell thejudge that waht you seek is support for the child. If this man is making the claim for need for protection to avoid his responsibility, the judge should be able to see it. This may lessen the chances that the TRO will be made permanent,

Kansas does not always require unmarried fathers to provide prenantal support. But, the state should help you get support once the child is born. But, you will have to prove paternity, if he denies it.

If there was any altercatiion between you and this man, or anyting you said (or wrote) that could be construed as a threat, you should hire an attorney to attend the restraining order hearing with you.

Good luck
