Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Kansas
breach of privacy
i worked for a company that sent out letters to my employees from that company (i was the manager) that i resigned because of health reasons. that is not the truth! i have had calls from some of my old employees asking what was wrong with me. i feel this is a breach of my privacy.

Re: breach of privacy
This letter was certainly improper if you did not consent, especially if it contained false information. The question is: were you really harmed, and if so, then you'll need to see a local attorney to assess what damages if any you might collect. The invasion of privacy is pretty clear because it arises from information to whcih employees would normally not have access, but whether that can result in anything to speak of is up to the local court.
