Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Kansas
My soon to be Ex-Wife got me fired from my temp job, which is also the same job that she works at. She told HR that I said something to her at home that I never said, in other words they fired me because of hear say. Then they even told her that they fired me. Legally is there anything I can do such as file a lawsuit against her or the company?

If your wif emade an untrue statement about you that got you fired, you can sue her. You might be able to sue the employer, but that is more sketchy. Unfortunately, unless the divirce is a publc record, an employer may share some employment information with an employee's spouse. You did nto indicate "what" she told them you said. That fact can alter the evaluation of your situation. There may not be enough space to provide all of the facts relevant to your case. Therefore, you should consutl direclty with an employment lawyer in your area. Many offer a free or low cost initial consultation. Go see one soon, as you have limited time in which to contest yrou firing, and to bring an action against her or the emplorer.
Good luck
