my finance company satisfied the lien on my car, but I still owe money on it. is the car considered mine and do I have to pay them?

Based upon the few facts you provided, it appears that title to the vehicle is just in your name. However, if you still owe them money, they may be able to come after you, or possibly asset a new lein.
