Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Kansas
My husband was arrested for theft for something we took back the exact same day we heard from the owner. Is there even a case? What do we need to do?

He needs to consult directly with a criminal defense attorney. Returning the goods, aftet arrest looks good, but would not negate the crime. Returning the stuff prior to the Police being called might.negate the crime alleged.
