Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Kansas
past employment rules
I would like to know the legalities involving past employment. I worked at a job and am no longer there. I applied for a different job, and they called my past employer. THe employer told them that I no longer work there and I did a no call no show. I thought that all a job can say is if you worked there or not. So, what is the legal way.
Thanks

Re: past employment rules
If the former employer gave false information to a prospective new employer, and you were not hired because of it, you may be able to take legal action against that former employer. If they told the truth, you may still be able to bring an action, but it may be dificult to show damages.
