Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Kansas
I was pulled in for a failure to appear warrant. That was not the issue. I have a disability (hydrocephalus) which I mentioned to the arresting officers who said I could not bring my medication because they didn't know what was in it and that they would take care of me in booking. They not only watched me suffer from the initial pain from my disability which I mentioned several times; they took several hours to take me to a doctor in their unit and were willing to let go into withdrawal and acted liked they didn't care. I would have suffered and not received help had I not gotten lucky and bonded out. Can I sue them?

If you were denied access to needed medical treatment, you may have a case. Go see a civil or constitutional law attorney, in your area. Take all the relevant documents, and go see one.
Good luck
