supervisor commits assault at workplace
Supervisor fists employees face for using wrong forklift..Is there a likelyhood that this employee might be justified in making a civil suit against the employer? civil rights violation here?

It sounds like there is a work comp claim and possibly an assault and battery claim. But, unless it touches upon one of the protected catergories (b/c of race, religion, etc) it probably would not support a federal suit for violation of civil rights
