Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Kansas
Can my employer restrict my right to defend my person and property by not allowing me to carry a firearm in my vehicle in a employee parking lot.

Yes. It's their property, and they can forbid types of conduct that they don't like.
The Second Amendment limits the government's authority, but not that of individuals or private entities. If you happen to be a government employee then the answer is probably still yes, but I would need more facts before I could be sure.
