Generally, officers need a search warrant to enter a residence without the owner's permission. If you have been arrested after an unauthorized search, you should consult directly with a criminal defense attorney very soon. If the police came in, without permission, and didn't arrest it cite you, you may want to meet with a civil practice attorney.
Good luck
