Legal Question in Consumer Law in Kansas

I bought a car at a dealership in Kansas. The loan on the car was for $14,000 but they added over $6,000 in different types of insurance on the loan (auto club membership etc). On the paper I signed it said there was no "cooling off" period. Am I obligated to keep carrying the insurances that I don't want through out the period of the loan (60 months)?

Yours may be a good case to reprot teh Attorney general's office, as weel as the ditrict attorney in the county where you bought the vehicle. If you meet with a live attorney in your area, they may be able to look at your documentation, ask you follow-up questions, and advise you as to what you are obligated to keep.

Good luck
