Legal Question in Consumer Law in Kansas
A friend has just finished paying off a personal loan to me. It was a total of two different loans and I want to give them a document that I will have notarized that the loans a were paid in full. Is there such a document and can I do it myself?
Thanks

A letter, signed by you, mentioning the two loans and saying that they are paid and all debts are satisfied, should suffice, to protect your friend from being sued by you, later, for repayment of one or both of the loans. If you are concerned that someone might later claim that you didn't sign the letter, you can get it notarized.
Good luck
