Legal Question in Consumer Law in Kansas
I certainly have grounds for a suit, but wonder how this would go in court and whether the award may justify the trouble. I'm vegetarian and bought bread from the Wal-Mart bakery labeled as plain cheese, and looking as such. I purchased it, and upon eating it later, found it to be their pepperoni and cheese bread. I became rather ill over this. I took a picture of the mispackaged good, but other than that, have little to show. How might this go in court? Store is in Kansas City, KS. Thank you.

This is one of the infamous dollar award type cases. If you have no monetary damages (such as doctor bills) you could win the case and get awarded $1 as damages. You could get more. Obviously, you couldn't provide all the pertinent facts here. You should consult directly with a civil practice attorney, in your area, to assess your options.
Good luck
