Legal Question in Consumer Law in Kansas
How do I obtain the title from the dealer that I purchased my vehicle from?
I purchased a 1976 Chevrolet c10 pickup truck from a dealership in Olathe, Kansas nearly 2 months ago. I have yet to receive the title and he keeps telling me he has not heard from the people that traded the vehicle in. He told me when i made my final payment that he did not have the title in his possession and that he would get it in 12 to 14 days. After my first 30 day tag expired he gave me another. My new one expires in a little over a week. I went to see him today and he said he would be receiving the title at the end of the week.

You, or your attorney need to tell him in writing that if you do not have the title by Monday, you will be seeking the full purchase price plus interest and attorney fees.
