Legal Question in Consumer Law in Kansas

Server changes amount of tip

I went out to eat and had a very bad experience. I only gave the server $1.00 tip because of this. I bank online and noticed that he must have changed the amount of the tip from the $1.00 to $3.00 dollars. Is there any kind of legal action I can take against the server or the restaurant itself?

Take your copy of the reciept showing that you only marked down $1, to your bank or card issuer. You may need to execute a affidavit of fraud. This process can be tedious. If, you call the Restaurant to compliin, they may recompense you with less work required of you, plus more directly deal with the waiter.
