If I have a bill with a hospital can they garnish my spouse's wages even if we weren't married at the time of my visit

While a person can be held responsible for their spouse's medical bills, it would be rare for a fianc� to have their wages garnished. However, if your future wife signed any documents relative to your treatment, she could be responsible first he bill. If they sued her and won, her wages might be garnished in that case.
