can a credit card company put a lien on my home in kansas if I can't pay it.

Unless you have executed a seperate security agreement, a credit card creditor cannot usually obtain a lein upon your homestead. But, they may sue you and obtain a judgment. Some title insurers will not insure whlil the judgment remains unpaid. ou can hire counsel to prove that no judgment lein attached. But, if you own rental, investment or commerical property, the judgmetn lein mahy be effective as to those properties.
