There isn't really s number limit, just a percentage of income limit. If an employee has ten equally situated creditors, they would each get a smaller portion of the available percentage of the employee's wages. Less number of creditors, means each gets more money. Not all creditors are equal. Some get the full garnishment, and the others have to wait till that debt is satisfied.
