From the facts you described, it is unclear as to how they breached the contract. It is possible that your agreement with Aaron's included language that it is binding upon the successors and assigns of the contracting parties. That would mean that RAC took the place of Aaron's at the time of the purchase. If you feel that they violated the agreemetn some other way, you shoudl consutl direlcty with a civil attorney in your area soon. Many offer a free or low cost initial consultaiton. Take all the paperwork you have and ask them whre you stand as to the debt to Aaron's/Rac.
Good luck
