Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Kansas
If a married man has credit cards in HIS name only.....is the wife responsible for the debt??
if so, is there something the wife can do to NOT be responsible?
State of Kansas, been married for 20 years
collections law? divorce ??

Technically, a wife is not responsbile for the individual credit card debts of their spouse. However, any pooled funds or assets could be subject to execution by a judgmetn debtor of just one or either spouse.
