I was a teacher for a few years and now my wages are being garnished and if i pull my money out of the kpers fund will this money also be garnished?

Teh KPERS fund cannot normally be direlcyt garnished. A granishment to the destric tthat employed you, is not a garnishment on the KPERS. But, when you take the fudns out and deposit into abank account, the fudns may be vulnerable. If you comingle this money with that from other sources, the entire bank account may be siezed. But, the creditor would have to do a seperate garnishment to that bank. A wage garishment does not attach funds in a bank.
