Generally, a plaintiff must file suit, against a Kansas Defedant, within five years of the sale of the repoed vehicle. But, there are factors that can make that period longer or shorter. Therefore, before you decide how to act, you shoudl consult directly with an attorney in your area, in order to get advice specific to your particular situation. Many attorneys offer a free or low cost initial consultation. If you feel that the statutory period may have passed, you shoudl take yoru paperwork to one.
Good luck
