If somebody writes a worthless check to the county treasure office for a camper tag can they come and remove the tag from the camper?

It may be possible for the licensing or taxing authority to retrieve the tag. But, that is not likely to occur. But, they can take the check to the prosucutor and the drafter (person who wrote the check) will owe three times the face value of the check, plus court costs, and perhaps additional statutory fines.
