Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
my 18 year old son started seeing a 13 year old girl when he was 17 and now her father found out and has turned this over to the KBI. What charges could he be facing? Does it make a difference that he was 17 when they started seeing each other.

He could possibly be charged with statutory rape because she is not at the age of consent which is 16 years old. You need to consult an attorney immediately. Contact me at 316-202-0360.
