Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
i was arrested earlier today on a felony 9 charge for shoplifting in kansas. im also on probation in washington for negligent driving. what kind of sentence am I looking at?

The Kansas charge coudl be for term of years in prison, and or probation. A conviction (or perhaps just the arrest) on the Kansas offense could be cause to revoke your probation in Washington. I am not licensed in Washington State, so I cano give you any specific information about what they do there. You shoudl consult with a Washington attorney as to that.
You should secure legal counsel to represent you, either paid by you, or a public defender. as the felony charge is a serious one.
